Entypus ochrocerus Dahlbom, 1843

Note: Day (1974) examined the specimens Dahlbom described as Entypus ochrocerus and synomized it with the species that Smith (1955) described as Pompilus flammipennis, from the West Indies. He concluded that the two specimens that Dahlbom got from Lefebvre were not located in Algeria, but in Cuba.
Entypus ochrocerus Dahlbom, 1843:35, ♂. 2 ♂♂, Africae ad Algier, 1835, Day (1974) examined the specimens Dahlbom described as Entypus ochrocerus and synomized it with the species that Smith (1955) described as Pompilus flammipennis, from the West Indies.
